Welcome,
The Magic Store is here to help you continue
your entertaining by providing quality magic. |
 |
 | Magicians of all ages and experience search to find new tricks to perform, but all to
often A magic trick doesn't say what level it's best learned by. For example
Diamond
Monte
is a great card trick but if you don't know basic card sleights (The Glide, and The Double
Lift) you may have trouble learning it or perhaps you've ordered magic that is so simple
you didn't feel it fit your style to perform so it sat on a shelf or was given to a
friend. Well I'm going to try to change the way magic is bought. I'm going to do my best
to let you know just what you need to know to learn the trick before you order it. So if
you need to know the glide and the double lift to do the trick you'll know and you'll be
able to study those sleights waiting for your magic to arrive at your door.
Of course you may already know a similar trick to one you see in our online catalog. I'm
going to do my best to describe each trick and let you know what tricks are similar, but
there are so many tricks and I know so few (comparatively).
Please enjoy our catalog I hope you find it easy to use I have categorized all magic into
eight categories : |
 | Kids
Magic that would suit those under 12 years old . This doesn't mean that this magic
wouldn't suit any magician it only means that I believe this to be the magic to suit 12
and under. |
 | Beginners
I'm going to do my best to put only magic that is easy to learn self-working
(no sleight-of-hand) magic into this section. |
 | Intermediate
This section is for the magician who wants to Impress his/her friends but
isn't ready to work tables or do kids parties or doesn't ever want to do either of those. |
 | Professional
This is magic for the worker. Whether you are one or not. If you work tables
in a restaurant or do birthday parties or stage shows this is where you will find the next
addition to your repertoire. |
 | Close-up
This is magic that you'd do for a friend or small group.
Usually these items fit in a pocket. |
 | Parlor
This is magic that would be easily seen for a little
group(10-30people aprox.) in a living room or den. The audience must
be able to see magic, to enjoy it fully. Magic that needs to set on a table
and looked down at (i.e. many coins and cards routines) cannot be listed
here. As well, it could be a farce to try a large stage prop in this
situation. |
 | Stage
This is magic that could be seen and enjoyed by 50 persons or more.
When I'm choosing stage magic I like props that pack tight and play big. If
an Item is bulky I'll try to let you know in the description
